There are a few steps you can take to make sure your card payments are processed successfully:
Confirm that the card details you entered are correct
Check that the following details provided on your remittance were entered correctly in your card terminal:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVV code
- The cardholder's name is Nvoicepay
- The billing address is for Nvoicepay
Process your payment for the amount listed on the remittance
Most card payment disbursed by Nvoicepay can only be charged for the total amount listed on the remittance. Charging cards for additional funds may result in a decline.
Confirm whether the invoices listed on the remittance have previously been paid. If they have, the funds are already processed and the card is no longer valid.
Ensure that you process your payment in a single transaction
For security purposes, most cards issued by Nvoicepay can only be charged once for the full payment amount. Please charge the card for the total amount (instead of by invoice) to avoid card decline issues.
If your card terminal does not allow lump-sum payments, Nvoicepay can work with your company to enable multiple-transaction credit cards. Additional security measures are required in these cases.
If you continue to experience card decline issues, or would like to learn more about enabling multiple-transaction credit cards, please contact Nvoicepay's Payment Support team at vendorsupport@nvoicepay.com or 877-626-6332.
